Current Yellow Pages advertisers will now have the opportunity to expand their local coverage via a sponsored listing on Yahoo! Yellow Pages. A Yahoo! Yellow Pages sponsored listing enables local merchants to prominently feature their business at the top of search results above basic listings within their yellow pages category. Each Yahoo! Yellow Pages placement allows the advertiser to add a graphic, a link to a map of their location, a special link to advertise specials or coupons, a brief company description and a link to their website on the results page. Yahoo! Yellow Pages joins Ambassador’s current line-up of Internet promotions products, including custom web sites, print “Web Listings,” local Internet directory ManhattanClicks.com, National Internet directory Switchboard.com as well as various related solutions provided by technology partner E-Web/YP Solutions. “The addition of Yahoo’s Yellow Pages product to our already powerful Internet promotions package is very exciting,” noted Rich Hargrave, Ambassador VP, and a member of ADP’s IYP Committee. “Together with our comprehensive print directories, we provide local business with one of the most cost-effective directive advertising packages in the New York Metro Area.” Ambassador publishes over 2.7 million Directories annually and distributes Yellow Pages to virtually every home and business in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens.
